At GR Agency (a trade name of GR Professional Services LLC, Fredericksburg, Virginia) we take care of your information. Here is, in plain words, what we collect and how we use it.
What We Collect
On this website we only ask for your name and phone number, plus your email and message if you write to us. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, ITINs or documents on this website. To prepare your return or ITIN, we receive your documents through Encyro, our secure, encrypted page.
Send Documents Only Through Encyro
WhatsApp, text messages and email are not secure ways to send documents. That is why we offer Encyro. If you choose to send documents another way, you do so at your own risk, and GR Agency is not responsible for unauthorized access that happens on those services.
How We Use It
To answer you, prepare your return or ITIN application, and comply with the law. We do not sell your information. We do not use or share your tax return information for other purposes without your written consent, as required by section 7216 of the Internal Revenue Code.
Who We Share It With
The IRS and your state tax agency when we file; the providers we work with (tax software, Encyro, WhatsApp, phone, email and our website host, Netlify, which receives form requests; and Cloudflare, for anonymous visit statistics), which have their own policies; and when the law requires it.
How We Protect It
All our software uses two-factor authentication, and we sign in with an authenticator app. Only people working on your file can access your information.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your documents and a copy of your return for as long as the law requires. Website contact details that do not become a client file are deleted when no longer needed.
If There Is a Security Problem
If unauthorized access to your information happens, we will notify you and the authorities as required by Virginia and federal law.
Your Choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details you gave us on this website, except what the law requires us to keep. To stop text messages, reply STOP.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13.
